ABOUT COMMUNITY FOOD OUTREACH
On any night, 3,000 shelter beds across Massachusetts are full or
beyond capacity. The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted Lawrence deeply.
We expect homelessness in our community to increase as:
Supplemental unemployment benefits end
The eviction moratorium ends
Housing and food costs continue to soar
Our Response:
✓ Providing both hot meals and cold lunches to local agencies doing direct outreach (over 657,085 pounds this year).
✓ Meals served in biodegradable packaging.
✓ Provide clothing, blankets, toiletries and pet food upon request.
