ABOUT FOOD DRIVES

Over 80% of the food at Bread & Roses is donated by companies, organizations, and individuals from across the Merrimack Valley. The donated food goes onto the shelves of our Emergency Pantry and into our house made Community Meals. If you or your team would like to chip in, a Food Drive is a great way to support our programs.

Donations are most needed during the Spring and Summer.

We are so grateful to everyone who has already reached out. October through December are our busiest times for food drives and they are a huge help throughout the holiday season.

As always, we accept any non-perishable (and perishable food!) that is not expired or nearly expired. For folks looking to donate something aside from food, brand new socks/gloves and hand warmers are needed all winter long.

This year, we have one request. If your food drive can fit in your car, please drop it off. Drop off hours this fall are M-TH 2PM - 6PM and Saturday 10AM - 6PM. Feel free to give us a call on your way over.

For larger drives: Our van is out rescuing food all day long, so if you need to schedule a pick-up, please reach out by email with at least 3 weeks notice so that we can coordinate a day and time for pick-up.
