Gift cards to local grocery stores and restaurants provide a portable, immediate way to help people experiencing hardship. Grocery store cards can purchase items like infant supplies or toiletries, as well as food. Restaurant cards provide a meal as well as a break from the elements.
-
Supplying items such as shampoo, soap, socks and diapers helps to preserve funds for housing, medication or other necessities.
During the winter months, warm items such as coats, hats, scarves, gloves and socks are in dire need, especially for those we serve living outdoors.
We also supply diapers and wipes upon request, thanks to a network of individual donors and as a part of the Neighbors in Need diaper network.
Toiletries, diapers, and other necessities are available Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
Please call if you aren’t able to come during these times.

Keeping your animal companion during tough times can pose a challenge. We provide pet food donated by the MSPCA.
Pet food is available Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

The Greater Lawrence Family Health Center Mobile Unit will be stationed at Bread & Roses every Thursday from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The clinic is first come, first serve.

In tandem with our network of local agencies, we provide one-on-one case management in English and Spanish to assist individuals and families with accessing healthy food, obtaining housing, securing employment, health care and substance abuse treatment, and otherwise navigating social services more effectively.

We welcome organizations and businesses from across the region to table during our programs, including Emergency Pantry and Community Meals. These partners connect directly with our guests to share job opportunities and trainings, ESOL classes, and other resources that can help individuals and families build skills, access new opportunities, and thrive.
